Lore is a Belgium-born documentary photographer based in South Africa for the past 18 years, who graduated from the renowned Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg in 2015. Her work is mainly focused on people and the quiet narratives of everyday life. With a background in midwifery, public health research, and a Master’s degree in Public Health, She brings a deep sensitivity to human experience . Her photographic approach is observational and immersive. She works primarily with natural light and prefers a honest visual language that allows moments to unfold naturally. She loves capturing small gestures and fleeting moments as a way of showing the emotions that shape people’s lives.
